Below is an example of an engagement ring that was remodelled for a client. Her original ring was around 15 years old, very fragile due to years of wear. The diamond almost fell out and the ring was badly damaged when she caught her fingers in a drawer (ouch). Luckily, the diamond was not lost, but it was certainly time for a remodel. The style, although updated, was still the classic solitaire she liked. The setting is now much more secure, the diamond being set in a bezel rather than claws and the new design actually made the diamond look bigger !
