Stacking Rings with Upcycled Gold

What you’ll do…

In this full-day workshop, you will handcraft three sterling silver rings, each with a different design and texture, that nestle together to create a unique and versatile set of stacking rings.

Add some bling to your rings by adding gold… Bring along some old gold – broken or unwanted jewellery, an odd earring, a broken chain or clasp (even an odd earring back will be enough) – melt it down and add to your designs. You don’t need a lot – bring in whatever you can find and we will determine what can be used.

Wear one, two or all three for a range of looks to suit any occasion – and all made by YOU!

Blow off the isolation blues and take a day out for yourself to enjoy.

Our fully-equipped professional jewellery studio is set in the gorgeous Hawkesbury region, on a rural property so you can see the trees and listen to the birds as you work.

Skills & Techniques…

This workshop is totally hands-on, with tuition by qualified professional jeweller, Tracy Kelly. You will learn how to melt gold and work with sterling silver with techniques including cutting, shaping, annealing, texturing, soldering and finishing, as you make your rings from scratch.

Small class sizes give you time to focus and develop your skills, with personal attention from the tutor.

The workshop is suitable for beginners (Yes! You can do it!!), or those with some experience.
